🌥️ A Cloudy Morning in Tokyo
Yesterday’s rain has come to an end, leaving behind a sky thick with clouds. The air still carries a trace of winter’s chill, yet something feels different. There’s a slight softness in the breeze, a gentle hint that spring is on its way.
昨日まで降り続いた雨がようやく止みました。
空は厚い雲に覆われていますが、冷たい空気の中にどこか柔らかさが混じっています。
冬の名残を感じながらも、春が少しずつ近づいていることを実感する朝でした。
⛩️ Yasukuni Shrine – Serenity Under the Overcast Sky
Walking through Yasukuni Shrine in the early morning, I was met with an atmosphere of quiet reverence. The shrine, wrapped in a blanket of diffused light from the overcast sky, seemed even more solemn than usual. The stone paths, still damp from the previous night’s rain, carried the footsteps of only a few early visitors.
靖国神社を訪れると、いつも以上に静寂に包まれた空間が広がっていました。
曇り空の下、淡い光に照らされた社殿がどこか厳かに佇んでいます。
雨上がりの石畳はしっとりと濡れ、朝早く訪れた数人の足音が静かに響いていました。
🌸 Sakura Watch – The Anticipation Builds
The Sakura Standard Tree remains unchanged, its buds still closed, yet they seem more vibrant than before. Each passing day brings us closer to that long-awaited moment when Tokyo will be bathed in pink. The transition is slow, but the city is preparing for its most breathtaking transformation of the year.
靖国神社の**「桜の標準木」**の蕾は、まだ固く閉じたまま。
それでも、わずかにふくらみを増したように感じます。
東京が桜色に染まるその瞬間へと、一歩一歩近づいているのでしょう。
ゆっくりとした変化の中に、春の訪れを待つ期待感が膨らんでいきます。
🚗 Tokyo Expressway – A City in Motion
Leaving the shrine behind, I turned my attention to the Tokyo Expressway. The roads, still damp, reflected the city’s lights in faint glimmers. Morning commuters moved steadily through the network of elevated highways, a rhythmic pulse in the heart of the metropolis. Soon, these same roads will be lined with blooming cherry trees, a fleeting yet magnificent contrast between urban steel and nature’s delicate beauty.
靖国神社を後にし、首都高へと視線を移しました。
雨上がりの道路はまだ少し湿っていて、街の灯りをわずかに反射しています。
朝の通勤車両が一定のリズムで流れ、都市の鼓動のように感じられました。
あと少しすれば、この道路沿いにも桜が咲き誇り、コンクリートと柔らかなピンクの花びらが織りなす美しいコントラストが広がることでしょう。
